Head of Print – Shelby Loasby
“I’m so excited for next year and cannot wait to get started. I’ve got some big boots to fill, but have plans for Print and Trident Media to be even more successful. We will have more presence around campus and aim to have Print, TV, and Radio all working together to bring students the most relevant, up-to-date and interesting articles and shows. The best way to make the most of your student media is to join and spread your own ideas! I strongly encourage everyone to sign up with Trident Media this year, not only to contribute to the longest running student radio, or the ever-growing newspaper, magazine and TV shows, but to gain experience, meet other passionate people and to ultimately enhance your CV! You will develop practical skills that the classroom can’t teach, and you’ll gain insight into the world of media and journalism. It’s a great opportunity and If you love writing, editing, blogging, filming, and even talking, you will love Trident Media!”

“I was so surprised but really pleased when I was chosen for the role of Head of Radio! After being part of Crush Radio for two years and getting involved with Trident Media events, I’m really looking forward to being part of the decision making team that can make Trident Media even more successful! Myself and my new committee have a lot of great ideas to make Crush Radio and Crush Underground even better, bringing new exciting shows and events across campus. Joining Crush Radio and Trident Media has definitely been the best thing I’ve been involved in at University so far and I would really encourage people to join. Whether you want to have your own fun packed radio show; become a TV star with UnionTV or even a hard hitting journalist, bringing the latest university news in UniVerse! Or maybe even all three!!”
