Trident Media caught up with Samuel Preston, lead singer of the Ordinary Boys back in October 2015, before their big November tour of the country.
The Ordinary Boys are an English Indie Rock band from Sussex who formed in 2002. After an on-and-off break from 2011-2013, the boys came back and officially reunited, much to their fans excitement.
At the time of the phone interview, the musicians behind hit Nine2Five had just announced their new album, The Ordinary Boys, which Preston described as;
“…an exciting new record, one that had been fuelled by reunited childhood friendships, new friendships, rediscovery of the records that shaped us and the drive to create something undeniably great.”
Preston has also been writing songs for the likes of Olly Murs and John Newman, as well taking time to be with friends and family. To find out what the boys have been up to, where they find their inspiration, and what they hope for the future, take a listen of the interview now! You can also find them on Facebook!
