First of all, we should all know why we came to university in the first place, to pass our courses and achieve goals we set ourselves. So now I am going to take you on a journey of the things you don’t want to miss out on before you finish university, or rather what most postgraduates had wished they did.
#1 HOST A PARTY
You definitely need to have some kind of a party; it could be a birthday party or a get-together. It’s fun and money-saving to host and plan parties with your friends, but you have to take steps to build the buzz for your party, so people turn up for it. Trust me, if you could get the perfect DJ, venue and people, your party would be the topic of every conversation.
#2 TURN UP FOR A 9 AM LECTURE WITH YOUR FRIENDS IN YOUR PJS
Some people might find this very crazy or even stupid, but it’s a laugh. You could do this when you’re rushing out to make it on time for a class or if you just feel like standing out with your friends and getting a lot of attention.
#3 HAVE A SLEEPOVER
You’ve probably already had a sleepover at the LRC, but if not, this old-school way of kicking back with some friends overnight is still a great way to enjoy their company without breaking the bank.
#4 PLAY A PRANK ON YOUR FRIENDS
Now this is everyone’s favourite; everyone likes to play a bit of a practical joke on their friends. Surprise them, embarrass them, scare them and then just laugh it out together. But remember not to make it dangerous!
#5 FALL ASLEEP IN CLASS
Sometimes it’s hard not to snooze in a lecture, especially when it’s early morning and you’ve had zero sleep the night before. I’m talking out of experience here! Maybe let the heavy eyelids stay shut for a few minutes during a lecture just to be able to say “been there done that.” You’re on your own when it comes to catching up on what you’ve missed though.
