NOBODY PANIC! Or maybe you should… For the seventh year running, Slam Dunk Festival South returns to The Forum on our very own College Lane Campus. Past headliners have included You Me at Six, All Time Low and 3OH!3 (whatever happened to them? Did they become too ‘Starstrukk’ over Katy Perry to continue their career?).
As I sit there waiting at nine in the morning yesterday for this year’s headliner to be announced, I write of joy (not tragedies). No longer will I be singing a ballad to Mona Lisa… Okay, I couldn’t think of a pun for that one. YES, Panic! at the Disco will be headlining this year’s Slam Dunk Festival! *cheers and applause* That’s right, the Las Vegas quartet will take to The Forum Hertfordshire stage next year, and will most certainly put on a great show. With their upcoming fifth studio album Death of a Bachelor slated for a January 2016 release, Slam Dunk Festival will act as a support for this album; fans can also expect renditions of their classic and most-well known hits. We’re in for a treat – especially with Slam Dunk’s 10th anniversary!
