Hatfield Charity sees get together, spreading cheer in the community

The AGMS foundation in Hatfield saw those with learning or physical disabilities treated to a community get together.

The second event of its kind, set up by charity; which also acts as a food bank distributor, the last Friday of every month from noon at the Marychurch Roman Catholic Church in Hatfield.

This picnic-style took place on 1st March at the Jimmy Mac Centre for over 200 people, who attended.

A group spokeswoman said: “We hope to do this again in the summer months.

“Our volunteers received warm praise and thanks from both attendees and the Gateway Club volunteers and a good time was had by all.”

The Gateway Club, in Hatfield, carries out weekly leisure and recreation available for anyone with physical or learning disabilities.

The Gateway Club spokeswoman added: “AGMS have a fantastic team of people. We thank them so much for their support.”
