Position: VP Student Activities
Course studied: Sport & Exercise Science

What separates you from the other candidates?
It’s the grin! But also the experience with AU sport teams (hockey) and study abroad.

What experience do you have that has prepared you for the role?
I have been 1st team captain for Herts Hockey, studied abroad in Northern Minnesota (super cold!) and have the people’s skills and ideas to make myself succeed!

What are the top three skills you bring to the job?
Character, commitment and perseverance

Who is your inspiration?
You have your heroes outside in the big wide world, but for me it is the current VP Bella for inspiring me to go for the role!

What are you most proud of doing at Herts?
Surviving my initiation!

If you could change one thing about the university, what would it be?
Give societies a better hold on students and give students Wednesday off.

What’s your favourite memory at Herts?
Many are too ‘risque’ to talk about but it would be being a part of the Hockey squad.

What’s the most embarrassing thing that’s happened to you here?
I’ve managed to drop many coffees in the uni without even having a sip, burning people in the process!

Where do you see yourself in five years?
Competing in the Olympics and paying off my student loan!
